Food+Wine Festival Returns to ATX After Last Year’s Cancellation

One of the city’s most anticipated events, the Austin Food & Wine Festival is making a triumphant return after an unfortunate weather-related cancellation last year. From Friday, April 28 through Sunday, April 30 festival goers will be able to experience the cuisine of an array of prominent Texan chefs, witness some cut-throat competitions, finish off with a dinner under the stars, and do it all over again with a brunch of their dreams.

Chef showcases, grilling stations and fire pits will be set in the picturesque view of Auditorium Shores, as the festival makes its way back to the city for its sixth time. Winemakers and chef talent from the Austin landscape will join alongside some of the best in the nation to feature gourmet eats from local favorites, Justine’s Brasserie, Jacoby’s Restaurant and Mercantile, East Side King, Parkside, Lonesome Dove, Easy Tiger, Central Standard and many, many more. Another favorite event, the Autograph Tent, will allow festival goers to pick up their favorite cookbooks and get them signed by chef talent.

This year, up-close access to cooking demos and wine and cocktail seminars is a featured part of the experience that will leave guests with new tips and tricks to try on their own.  If you’re planning on being in Austin, take advantage of the sights, sounds, eats and drinks that the acclaimed Austin Food & Wine Festival has to offer!
